The first step in treating diseases is accurate and rapid diagnosis. Therefore, pathology is in close communication with many other medical branches.
Our physicians in our Pathology Department; active participation and contribution to breast, lung, endocrine, liver, uro-genital system cancers and general tumor councils meetings. However, cases are also discussed in detail in the councils on cancer and non-cancerous diseases of the skin.
In our pathology laboratory; small organoscopic biopsies such as endoscopic, laryngoscopic, bronchoscopic, prostate, breast, cervix and skin; tissues obtained by bone marrow, lymph node and radical resection are examined.
