At Cyprus Central Hospital in our Gynecology and Obstetrics Department, a team of physicians who are experts in their fields and follow all the up-to-date advancements in the medical world is in charge of offering the best medical care to our patients.

In addition to providing treatments for gynecologic diseases, our Gynecology and Obstetrics Department also offers obstetrical (maternal) care. Obstetric applications include reproductive healthcare services such as pre-pregnancy care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.

During the preconception period, people who want to become pregnant may visit the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department. The goal is to plan how to proceed toward a healthy and safe pregnancy. In collaboration with the in vitro fertilization (IVF) center at the hospital, the necessary tests and procedures are selected and applied individually.

Unlike obstetrics and gynecology services, gynecologic health services are related to the health of the female reproductive system, such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and vagina. These health services, which vary by age, can include pelvic exams, vaginal swabs, human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, and infectious disease testing.
