I was born in Famagusta in 1966. After completing my primary education in Büyükkonuk Primary School, I completed secondary and high school in Namık Kemal High School. I started higher education in Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1984.
In 1993, I started my specialization in the Department of Pathology of the same faculty and completed my specialization as a Pathology and Cytology specialist after four years of education.
Specialized period, “Chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis, and the frequency of mutant p53 genes in liver cancer and its differences from other countries and Turkey” and “breast cancer, mutant p53 gene frequency, grade of AgNOR and relationship with PCNA in breast cancer,” as I worked.
At the same time, these studies have been published in foreign magazines.
As a specialty thesis, I researched the relationship of grade with AgNOR in endometrial cancers, relation of nm23 gene with metastasis, grade and stage.
Following the specialization, I returned to Cyprus in 1997 and started working as a Pathology and Cytology Specialist at Famagusta Medical Center.
I joined the military at the end of the same year and completed it in 1999.
I am still working as a Pathology and Cytology Specialist at Famagusta Medical Center.
I am married and have two children.
